We call on phone companies to help children to protect themselves against mobile phone health damage.
We are calling for:
- Warning labels to be shown prominently on mobile phone packaging and in the instruction booklet.
- Information leaflets explaining the potential dangers and safety steps to be provided with mobile phones sold for children.
- An education campaign through the healthcare system, online and in schools.
- R&D to develop and improve technology that reduces radiation exposure.
- An end to the active marketing of mobile phones to children
We are asking the mobile phone companies and government to work with us to develop these initiatives.
